Biography

Living Legendary XXX Debi Diamond has truly made a mark in the porn world to its core since her debut in 1980. The sexy blonde beauty set the standard for other stars who follow her with a ferocious sexual appetite and unbridled lust that is not yet been matched by anyone who follows her.

May 1, 1962 the Goddess was born San Fernando Valley, California. Debi was raised in a middle-class upbringing, and landed an opportunity to work as an assistant to Robert Evans, legendary film producer, following high school. Evans was the one who introduced Debi to a variety of famous names at the time and included Helmut Newton. Debi was featured in a variety of Helmut’s glamour photography collections in the late 70’s and into the early 1980’s. She attempted to break into Hollywood’s mainstream industry during the beginning of the 80’s, but didn’t have much of a record to show for it. Because many producers wanted her to have sex in their offices for roles, she figured she could be paid to have sexual relations, and so she began looking at porn. Debi began her career as Shelly Rey, sporting a supple and attractive physique. She quickly enthralled legions of admirers with her smoldering hot performances. The sultry diva left the scene for a while, but returned in the latter half of the 1980’s with a slimmer body and more sexual drive more than ever.

Debi was among the first girls who could do anything and everyone who witnessed her work was impressed and admired her contributions to the business. Through the years she has won nearly every award that was available to female artists, including Artist of the Year as well as Most Favorite Female. She is included in the X-Rated Critics as well as the AVN Hall of Fame. She also explored other ways of self-expression in her most active times and even sang on the version of the Jefferson Airplane song “White Rabbit” by The Durutti Column, which appeared on the group’s 1987 Factory Records album The City Of Our Lady (Fac 184).

After a lengthy porn profession, Debi quit in late 1990’s partly because of pressure from her family and close friends. She got married and had three children, however, she later divorced. Debi appeared in MySpace during 2007 and appeared to be thinking about a return. Then, in 2009 Debi was back in a porn community which welcomed her back with welcoming arms.
